Wayne was born in Illinois and moved to Phoenix soon after. He remained a Phoenix resident throughout his life. He was a graduate of Camelback HS. Wayne dedicated most of his career to the hospitality industry, beginning as a waiter at Mother Tuckers. He then moved into management, becoming the GM at Rustlers Roost. After many years of management, Wayne became the owner/operator of the Brown Bag restaurant. He also served as the interim CEO of Zia Records after his brother Brad passed away. He had many passions in life, but he most enjoyed mentoring young people who worked with him in his various endeavors. He also loved spending time with his family. On his days off, Wayne loved to grill. His specialties were wings and ribs.
Wayne cared deeply for his family. He was a loving father, brother, son, and uncle. He maintained a quick wit and fun personality throughout his life.
Wayne is survived by his daughter Stacy Singer, brother Scott Singer, sister-in-law Kim Singer, and nephew Greg Singer.
He is preceded by his mother, Lynn Hoffman, father Sheldon Singer, brother Brad Singer, and his sisters: Jill Singer and Arlyn Strouse.
