Joyce Fergot-Logue, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026, after a courageous battle with dementia. She was 84 years old.

Born on November 9, 1941, Joyce spent her childhood in Paramount, California. As an only child, she developed a strong sense of independence and resilience. She attended Paramount High School, where friendships and experiences helped shape the caring woman she would become.

At the age of 16, Joyce met the love of her life, Jim Logue, at a local dance. Their connection was immediate, and just three months later they were married, beginning a remarkable journey together that spanned nearly 60 years. They eventually built their home in Norwalk, California, where they raised their three children and created a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Joyce is lovingly remembered by her three children: Katherine (Kathy) Logue-Lopez, Robert (Bob) Logue, and Jeffery (Jeff) Logue, along with their families. She leaves behind a legacy that continues through her eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild who is expected to join the family soon.

She was also devoted to her beloved dog, Boomer, who brought her great companionship and joy.
Joyce’s greatest passion was sewing, particularly quilting. She was an active member of several quilting guilds in Apple Valley, CA where she formed many treasured friendships. Through her remarkable talent and generosity, she created countless beautiful quilts that became cherished keepsakes for her family and loved ones. Each stitch reflected the love she poured into everything she did.

Above all else, Joyce loved her family and friends. She found happiness in caring for others, creating lasting memories, and sharing her gifts with those around her. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering love will be remembered always.

Joyce will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but the warmth of her love and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind will continue to comfort and inspire her family for generations to come.
