George Steven Parker, 85, of Menifee, California, passed away peacefully at home on January 9, 2026. He was born on May 13, 1940 in Oakland, California.

George built a distinguished 50-year career in financial services. He began his career at WED Enterprises (now Walt Disney Imagineering), where he provided financial oversight during the construction of Walt Disney World. His expertise in equipment leasing and corporate finance led him to found multiple successful companies, including L’Argent Corporation and FIC Leasing Services. 

His work took him around the world, from consulting in the Russian Federation to structuring complex financing deals for diverse industries. Throughout his career, he remained committed to serving nonprofit organizations and educational institutions.

A proud Trojan, George earned both his Bachelor of Science and MBA in Finance from the University of Southern California, where he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. He remained a devoted USC football fan throughout his life.

George’s Christian faith was important to him, and he attended and served at several churches in Southern California, including his time at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church where he facilitated divorce recovery workshops for many years. He also had a deep passion for World War II military history.

George is survived by his beloved wife, Trudi Farley Parker; his five children: Steven, Michael, Christopher, Jennifer, and Alison; 13 grandchildren: Tyler, Sierra, Hadley, Lily, Christopher, Casey, Sienna, Sophia, Nathaniel, Quinten, Parker, Adelyn, and Ford; and two great-grandchildren: Ashley and Carlyle.
