Joseph Ferro, 59, of Peoria, Arizona, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025, after a courageous four-year battle with cancer. He was surrounded by the love of his family and dear friends to the end.

A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Joe went on to earn his Master’s Degree from the University of Arizona and built a respected career as a pharmacy technician specializing in failed claims. He approached his work with dedication and a sharp intellect, always striving to help others through even the most complicated challenges.

Joe was a man of many passions. As a guitar enthusiast, he found joy in music—especially the sounds of Rush and Triumph. He had a passion for golf, darts, racquetball, and more recently, pickleball. He was a devoted fan of the Washington Commanders,  Philadelphia Phillies, and U of A football and basketball, cheering them on with loyal enthusiasm.

Though known for his brisk delivery and dry wit, those closest to Joe knew him as a man with a heart of gold. He loved deeply and was fiercely loyal to those in his life. His friendships, many spanning decades, were a testament to the kind of person he was—steadfast, honest, and full of quiet strength.

Joe is survived by his loving spouse, two sons, his mother, and his brother. He will be missed beyond words by all who knew and loved him.
