Joseph Remsing

Joseph Remsing, age 80, passed away on October 8,
2026. Born on April 27, 1946, in Utica, Michigan, Joseph
lived in Cass City, Michigan, and later in Casa Grande,
Arizona. He was a graduate of the class of 1964 from
Ubly High School, Ubly, Michigan.
Joseph had a deep love for music and was a talented
musician who enjoyed playing the guitar, piano, and many
other musical instruments. Over the years, he shared his
musical gifts by performing with several different groups,
most recently the Desert Country Musicians of Casa
Grande, Arizona. Music was an important part of his life,
and he enjoyed sharing his passion and talents with
others.
In addition to music, Joseph was skilled at woodworking.
He enjoyed working with his hands and creating things,
expressing his creativity and craftsmanship through his
work. His musical abilities and woodworking talents were
special parts of who he was.
Joseph is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lois (Kaake)
Remsing; his children, Kelly Knight, Joseph Remsing,
Christy Bell, Julie (Jeff) Harrison, Joenie Remsing, Jamie
(Lisa) Remsing, and Jeremie Remsing; his granddaughter,
Victoria Wilson; his great-granddaughter, Millie; and his
siblings, Helen Keyser, Frank (Dianne) Remsing, Lena
(Arlon) Lee, and Mary Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and
Martha (Forstner) Remsing; his brothers, George
