Michael D. Eggleston, Sr., 79, of Phoenix, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026. He was born on April 30, 1946 to Leroy and Buelah Eggleston in Seattle, Washington.
For over 30 years, Michael worked in the technology industry (which he learned in the NAVY) starting with GE in the 1970’s, then Honeywell, and ending with BULL when he retired to start his own business in internet hosting, design, and development. When he wasn’t working, he loved spending time outdoors exploring different areas, hiking, sailing, and watching the stars. He shared this outdoor adventure spirit with his family and many children through Boy Scouts. He loved teaching children about the outdoors and even went on various school trips through the years to help explain the importance of our natural world.
Michael is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patricia; three children, Chandra (Jon), Michael Jr. (Rachael), and Mary; three grandchildren, Michael (Raina), Michael III (Alicyn), and Christopher.
