Throughout her life, Patricia made homes and lasting connections in Tracy, California; Bullhead City, Arizona; Champaign/Urbana, Illinois; Port Huron/Detroit, Michigan; and Hollandale, Mississippi—leaving a piece of her heart and a testimony of love and faith in every place she lived. She loved without limits and welcomed everyone she met with open arms, offering comfort, wisdom, prayer, and support. Her presence was a source of warmth, and her love created a sense of family wherever she went.
Patricia “Patti” Dawn Williams passed away peacefully on January 02, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on December 19, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois. Patti lived a life rooted in Christian faith, love, resilience, and devotion to her family. A woman of quiet strength and a nurturing spirit, she trusted God through every season of life and reflected His love through her kindness, compassion, and care for others.
She was the proud and devoted mother of three daughters: Clarissa Dawn Williams-Walker (Cynthia Williams-Walker), Chree’ Patrice Stanley, and Christine Lorraine Boyce (Lucas Boyce). Patty is also survived by her husband, Eddie Holmes, lovingly known as “Paw Paw Eddie”.
Patti was a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, affectionately known as “Mamaw” by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a loving grandmother to K.D. Williams (Jimela Thompson & Chantelle Daily-Williams) , Desiree Candler, and Buranda Pearce-Sewell (Jeremiah Sewell), Charles Sanford Stanley Jr., Zechariah Matthew Stanley, Ta’Nae Irene Stanley, Millie Marie Stanley, Bella Lorraine Stanley, and Cartier Williams-Walker, and a joyful great-grandmother to Ma’Tie Laron Cross, Symeer Nekhi Pearce-Sewell, Aundrey, Jeremiah, Eliana, Elijah and Xavier (Daily-Williams). Being Mamaw was one of her greatest joys, and her love will live on through generations.
She is survived by her beloved siblings: sisters Mary Lorraine Pressey (Walter Pressey) and Barbara Anderson-Neighbors, and brothers Paul Alponse Williams and James Thomas Williams. Through her siblings, Patti was blessed with twelve precious nieces and nephews, whom she loved deeply and held close to her heart.
Patti was preceded in death by her sisters Jayne Lee Kruse and Jeanette Grace Lawrence, and by her parents,Patricia Williams and Paul Williams, affectionately known as Grandma Pat and Grandpa Pap Pap.
Patti leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, strength, and nurturing care. While we mourn her earthly absence, we rejoice in knowing she is now resting in the presence of our Lord and Savior- Jesus Christ. Her prayers, her love, and her example will continue to guide and comfort us until we meet again.
