Wayne was born in Illinois and moved to Phoenix soon after. He remained a Phoenix resident throughout his life. He was a graduate of Camelback HS. Wayne dedicated most of his career to the hospitality industry, beginning as a waiter at Mother Tuckers. He then moved into management, becoming the GM at Rustlers Roost. After many years of management, Wayne became the owner/operator of the Brown Bag restaurant. He also served as the interim CEO of Zia Records after his brother Brad passed away. He had many passions in life, but he most enjoyed mentoring young people who worked with him in his various endeavors. He also loved spending time with his family. On his days off, Wayne loved to grill. His specialties were wings and ribs.

Wayne cared deeply for his family. He was a loving father, brother, son, and uncle. He maintained a quick wit and fun personality throughout his life.

Wayne is survived by his daughter Stacy Singer, brother Scott Singer, sister-in-law Kim Singer, and nephew Greg Singer.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Lynn Hoffman; father, Sheldon Singer; brother, Brad Singer; sisters, Jill Singer and Arlyn Strouse; half-brother, Bruce Singer; and half-sister, Brenda St. George.

Hi, I was one of Wayne's co-members to a support group for our shared medical problems. I offer the deepest condolences to his family. He spoke often of his family and always came to life any time he had any contact with them, especially Stacy. I met Wayne in 2011 at this support group. Wayne had a very funny and almost unique sense of humor that we both shared . We also shared many of the same medical problems. I communicated via email with Wayne constantly and regularly for 14 years. In fact I just received a detailed email from him on May 10th. When I hadn't heard from him all week I emailed at the end of the next week and heard from Stacy via his email and was quite shocked an enormously saddened. Wayne always and continuously provided a serious listening ear to my multitude of medical problems and almost refused to talk about himself. We both shared a different but rare medical problem that less than 1 in 1.5 million people have. His was porphyria and my was stiff person syndrome. Wayne truly was like a big brother than I never had, (8 years older than me). He always tried to help others in our shared support group and literally to anyone who was in need and refused to accept any charity. I share in his family's grief enormously and my life will not be the same without him. I cannot say enough how much he truly loved all of his family and that was one of the few things he spoke of and shared to be honest. My deepest condolences to his family, and to all who loved him. Sincerely, Brad Bible 404-805-2019 bradleyjbible@aol.com.

I loved to see Wayne every week; every Friday at 12:30am. Our Pain Support started in 2009 and I've known him ever since. We became such good friends. I will miss him.
