In honor of nearly 42 years of marriage to my best friend and soul-mate, I treasure sharing our journey with friends and loved ones. One of his greatest pleasures in life was winning a Royal Flush jackpot at the local casino, or even better, multiple wins.
Willie was born in Los Angeles, California, to Roxine and Will Rogers. His formative years were spent in Cleveland, Ohio, with older sisters Terry and Sharon and younger sister Jackie, and a short time with brother Rick Millward, who left us many years too young.
Willie sacrificed his formal education early in life to assist in support of his family when he moved to Arizona in the 80’s. This is where we met and built our life together.
Willie was a strong, honorable man. Always willing to help someone in need. He loved our fur-babies – Kenny, Weazie, and Samantha, and his childhood pets Charlie and Sam.
He enjoyed his small circle of friends over the years in the manufacturing world at Eason & Waller, Sturm Ruger, Garrett, ATK, and Northrop Grumman.
The world was a better place with you in it. My heart aches for you, my Love. I am so sorry we didn’t have more time to fight for your recovery.
